For this particular lesson, we were learning about creating in religion (specifically the creation story in Genesis for the abrahamic religions).

In order for the children to appreciate the idea of design in creation, they went out into the garden area in order to notice and explore creation in nature. Inspecting leaves, looking at natural patterns in bark and plants and discovering their own wow moments in nature.
