Nowruz Mubarak!

This week, we have been celebrating Persian New Year in the school. This is a fascinating and rich cultural celebration dating back over 3000 years to ancient Persia in Iran and is celebrated by many cultures and countries.

The children learned all about it in school today, they saw our lovely Haftsin display and were able to make some lovely Hyacinth cards to celebrate the new year (known as ‘Sombol’ in Farsi).

As they are still drying, the children will be able to take home their lovely creations home on Monday.
