The last two weeks have flown by during this Arts Fortnight. We started the week not having an idea about Room 17 yet the children and myself have all now bought into the idea and concept behind Room 17 – a place to express creativity within the community.

As part of this, the children have been directed by the word ‘Inspiration’ for the last two weeks. This has fed into the dance, inspiration artwork and also their graphic design work.

I gave the idea to the children of designing the branding of Room 17 for the school to show others that if we can design all of this branding then those others could also achieve this too (“You could be, someone special…”)

The children have produced remarkable work and have really blown me away with their efforts. They are a credit to themselves and this school.

Hopefully, they can inspire some of the others with their work as well.
