In this lesson, we were looking at different kinds of rocks that we have in school, much to the fascination of the children of course. They were able to see that as opposed to being dull and grey that rocks can come in many different shapes and sizes.

After a thorough inspection and much boistrousness the children then were able to conduct a simple science experiment by comparing and contrasting various rocks that are in our collection.

This so inspired some of the children that they decided to bring their own rocks in later on in the week!
