Cave Art

Last half term, the children were coming to the end of their Stone Age topic.

This being such an informative, fun and long topic the children had lots of room and scope to get creative and really live in the Stone Age (or thereabouts). To cap off our learning and journey, the children made some pretty large cave drawing pieces of their class animal (a sabretooth tiger is what they had chosen) and them made some actual cave art on cardboard that we used to turn Year 3 into a Paleolithic cave. This whole task was an exploration activity, so that they could get used to the materials we were using and get into the spirit.

Just take a look at some of the children and their work and you can see how much they enjoyed it.
